Mosman’s Reverie penthouse sells for more than $15m ahead of sales launch

A penthouse in a new boutique luxury apartment block, which launches tomorrow, has sold for a record price in Mosman village.

The 215sqm penthouse in the Reverie block at 15-25 Myahgah Rd, which is being sold off-the-plan, fetched more than $15m.

CBRE director Tim Rees said he had three local downsizer buyers fighting over the luxury residence.

“That’s what drove the price above $15m,” he said.

“They are all Mosman locals and they wanted to be right in the Mosman village, without having to walk.”

Rees said the result was the highest apartment price ever in Mosman village and the highest in the suburb for an apartment that wasn’t on the waterfront with a water view.

“You just can’t get this level of quality in Mosman village,” he said.

“It’s the best site that’s not waterfront with a view and this is the best site in the village.

“Locals understand the quality produced by the developer, Helm.

The penthouse, which overlooks Allan Border Oval, will have three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a powder room and a study.

Other attractions of the penthouse include a six-car garage — extremely rare for an apartment — and even a walk-in wine cellar.

There’s also a 35sqm balcony.

Rees expects the other pet-friendly apartments in the 20-unit block to be popular at tomorrow’s launch and they could even sell out on the day.

“We’ve had over 280 groups through the display suite in the past seven days,” he said.

On offer are two- and three-bedroom apartments with two or three car spots.

The two bedders are priced from $3.6m and three-bedroom from $6.5m

Says Rees: “Reverie is an icon in the making, and will become Mosman’s most prestigious address, encompassing the finest apartments Helm has ever delivered.”

Reverie is a modern blend of rich textured timbers, tactile stonework, soft curves, coffered ceilings of up to 3.15m high and each home features spacious alfresco zones for outdoor entertaining.

Seven ground floor apartments even feature private gardens on title measuring up to 275sq m and the communal spaces feature landscaped residence only gardens.
